History
We are the culmination of legacies left by our forefathers, built through partnerships, mergers and acquisitions within the Harmonie Group of Companies.
In Oil & Gas, our story started in 1901, in the wake of the first oil rush. By 1910 USA oil outputs surpassed that of the rest of the world, and crude oil which was initially supplied by Standard Oil and later Gulf Oil, became the Harmonie Athania crude oil operations in Louisiana.
Through foresight, strong leadership, and the commitments of all our employees, we have diversified into multiple sectors of industry, always working through industry leaders and experts in all fields of our trade.
Harmonie´s Chairman & CEO William E. Donahue Jr. had his Grandfather John Huetteman Sr., Senior Vice President of JL Kraft for over 27 years, and founder of Commercial State Bank Roseville, now Comerica bank, and Frank D. Stella, a Detroit patron of the arts, World War II air force veteran major, and four time White House Fellowship appointee to Presidents Nixon, Ford, Reagan and Bush, whose influences and contributions, were instrumental to the steady and stable growth of Harmonie. John Huetteman Sr., and Frank D. Stella, both as mentors to Mr. Donahue, assisted Mr. Donahue in becoming known as a global business leader and creative investment banker, acting as a world wide liaison to international private and public projects and program funding.
Others, still living and board members of the company, continue to contribute decades within their fields of expertise.
Today, under Harmonie International since 2006, we have diversified our portfolio by further investing and expanding into prime port and strategic tank farms in key areas of the US and abroad, further cementing ourselves within the supply chain of oil and gas.
In Memorium
Mr. Donahue was partners with Thomas O'Dell, retired VP of Conoco Inc., and Chairman of Du Pont Services B.V. (prior to their merger) with 35 years of service in the field of oil exploration, project financing and trading, who's contributions further cemented Harmonie's routes with growth and expansion into overseas markets such as West Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. Thomas O'Dell's legacy remains the foundation of Harmonie's blue print in the purchase and sale of crude oil and refined products. He will be greatly missed…

Our Trading Group
Our Physical Commodity Structuring and Trading Group is an independent physical trader of products.
We foster a team of accomplished senior executives with top-ranked records and over 100 years of combined experience in risk management and physical trading. Along with our partners we hold counter-party status as well as oil and gas licensing at national and private oil companies, and registrations with several prominent top tier trading houses, with access to exit markets at some of the world's largest corporations and fuel aggregators.
Through our direct access and interests in supply chain management and infrastructure, backed by our experience in capital financial markets, and successfully forged business relationships with key oil producers, we obtain long term contacts, whether through allocation or holding, which we transact forward by offering workable creative solutions in the supply of bulk, self-liquidating term contracts for all our clients.
Logistics
We diligently work within the futures, spot, rack and retail markets, by offering secured refinery fresh commodities produced to our client's specifications, directly from refinery, at competitive pricing, with rapidly scalable financing, under a large order book, shipped to any safe world destination with complete security of supply.
Physical trading, logistics and distribution are at the core of our business, which further complemented by our top tier business and joint-venture partners for the creation of scale, ensure our clients with consistency and security of supply.
Globally, we offer products on both Cost Insurance and Freight (CIF) to any Safe World Port (ASWP), or Free On-Board (FOB) to ports Houston and Rotterdam.
FOB Houston and Rotterdam are In-Tank transactions offering our customers the option for Tank-Takeover, Tank-to-Tank or Tank-to-Vessel transfers without delay or hindrance.
In addition, subject to volumes and terms, for US markets, we can provide product into pipeline or to rack.
Products
All products sold or traded under Harmonie International are offered under own title and ownership, unencumbered, acquired through prime bank to bank execution and settlements, complying with all due diligence, whether institutional or internal, and global banking compliance, insuring the highest security within any trade we offer. Whether securing product or trading it forward, we execute all our transactions through and under banking regulations.
Our partners are all committed to compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to privacy regulations and Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering related regulations, the USA PATRIOT Act and regulations promulgated by the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Our products are all delivered in accordance to ASTM standards and delivered in increments of 25,000 metric tons through intended commercial seaports of Rotterdam and Houston.
Diesel
We provide USLD, D6, EN590 10PPM, Gasoil 0.5%, and other special grade diesel gas oil
Gasoline
We provide Gasoline fuel or Petrol and other special grade fuel.
Aviation Jet Fuel
We provide Jet A1 and other special grade fuel.
LNG
We provide LNG and other special grade gas.
All abovementioned product standards and specifications are in accordance to our clients’ presented requirements.
